Why Cadre?

Study of 100 teachers and administrators show CADRE networks impact on personal and professional growth. Check out Dr. Wolf’s Cadre Impact Study Summary.

“The cadre system created an environment for my personal learning and professional action. More importantly, cadre stimulated an ownership and responsibility for follow-through, dissemination and continuous learning. Cadre made an exemplary contribution to our individual and organizational growth.”

Michele Micetich

“Cadre involvement empowered, included, and informed.”

Why join a CADRE?

ITS Cadre Power!

Have you ever inwardly groaned when you’ve been placed on a committee? Does it come from the experience of too many meetings with very little results? Committees often consume too much time and have minimal impact because the committee did not really have a clear purpose for meeting, did not have the power to implement any changes they recommended, or did not feel that their input would have any influence.

Being on a cadre is completely different. The term “cadre” means a group that assembles because of a common interest or concern. In this context, cadres represent a self-selected human resource network who meet under a support umbrella to:
• identify needs of the participants;
• explore research, best practices, and innovations that address the critical questions;
• support the personal and professional growth of members to implement recommended solutions;
• disseminate knowledge, skills, and practices of “what works”;
• validate results and people;
• “own the process” (experience, results).

Simply stated, a cadre is a flexible grouping of highly motivated individuals who improve the skills and attitudes by serving as agents for change and improvement in their organizations.
